Evaluation of summer thermal comfort using in situ measurement and dynamic simulation, hot and arid climate in Algerian Saharan region as a case study

The interest to ensure thermal comfort becomes one of the major challenges in building sector, not only for quality interior ambiences, but also minimize energy rate consumed heating and cooling systems. Th s paper presents advantage using adaptive approach numerical simulation assess level dwellings different architectural typology hot climate. For this purpose, method is based on situ measurements effected two samples traditional contemporary typology; anemometer instrument, where climatic parameters measured inside outside are: ambient temperature, relative humidity air velocity. work performed by Energy-Plus software; consequently experimental tests are realized local material order know their physical characteristics. results obtained demonstrate efficiency passive devices, which able provide a comfortable ambience without referring conditioning system, with an operating temperature 30.5ºC satisfaction 80%.
